We believe that as much as God sends workers to go do His work, a large part of the work is done also by the people and the churches who sends them. We definitely cannot do this without people praying and supporting us as we prepare to depart, serve in Benin, and as we come back to Canada.
If you would like to partner with us financially, donations can be made online here. Please indicate the Benin team and which team member your donation is for.
You are invited to our Praise and Prayer Night!
Date: Friday, June 27th
Time: 7:30pm (doors open 7:15pm)
Place: Rosewood Baptist Church
Theme: When Justice Comes...
Speaker: Pastor Jim Chen
Band: FOCUS
Please bring your friends and come join us for a night of worship, prayer, sharing, and refreshments!
Please continue to pray for...
- unity and preparation of the team
- ready hearts for the receivers
- willing mind/flexibility for goers
- for the Holy Spirit to lead and prepare the way for us
- safety and health
- good communication between our team and the locals
Thanks for supporting us!

Update: June 8th
Whew it's been a pretty crazy busy summer for some of us, and we've finally been getting some things to go through for us, so we're just progressing along now. With more prayer (from us or you!) and some diligence, we'll be able to get through our preprations much more smoothly and we'll be seeing awesome things happen! This is what's going down with our team so far =)
First of all, our team will be having a Praise and Worship Night on June 27th at Rosewood Baptist Church (Brimley and McNicoll). For the night, FOCUS (CC '07 worship band) is going to lead us through a great time of worship to our great God, and Jim Chen will share a short message with us. This will definitely be a night where many of us will be blessed in several ways, so feel free to invite anybody to come out to join us!
Secondly, our prayer letters are now available, so we'll be sending them out soon so that you can know how you can support us.
Well, that's about it for now, everybody. We're definitely looking forward to seeing many more great things from God, but we certainly cannot do this without prayer, so please remember us in your prayers!

Blog is up!
Hey everybody! Welcome to our blog =D This blog is set up so that we can report all of the great things God will be doing through, in and with our group, so swing by every now and then to check this page out for the inside scoop on God's mighty works!
Right now, we're still very much in the planning and preparation stages, but we've already seen how God has really pulled this team together. Originally, this team was supposed to be supported by another group who was going to build a water filtration system in a village in Benin, but things didn't work out for that group. This trip was incredibly close to being cancelled until Hang Kit and Simon expressed interest, and Giselle, Janet and Cedric joined the team just in time, with literally only one day to decide! It's awesome to see how God saved this trip from going down the drain.
So far, there isn't much to report, but it certainly does not mean that God's Spirit is not at work yet. Everything is being set in place by the Spirit, who is definitely ready to make a huge impact on both the Beninese people and our team going there. Please pray for us so that we would have confidence and boldness in sharing the love of Jesus to these precious people.
